Peter Leyser, Executive Director Peter is the Associate Director, Business Development of the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES), in addition to his role as Executive Director, True Sport Foundation. Prior to joining the CCES, Peter was the Director of Golfmax & Business Development with the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada. Peter is a graduate of the University of Windsor with a Bachelor degree in Human Kinetics, Honours Sport Administration and a Masters degree in Sport Administration from the University of Ottawa. |

Paul Melia, Chairperson and Acting Director Paul is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES). Paul joined the organization in 1991 as Director of Education and Communications. After serving in this capacity for eight years, he moved to the private sector where he held the position of Regional Vice President for In-Touch Survey Systems Inc. In 2001, his passion for promoting a Canadian sport environment based on positive values and the pursuit of excellence through fair and ethical means lead to his return to the CCES. Paul oversees the CCES’ operations, which include the administration of the Canadian Anti-Doping Program and working with the federal, provincial and territorial governments and other sport organizations to build a national ethics strategy for amateur sport under the banner True Sport. Paul also works extensively in the international arena promoting ethical and doping-free sport. Paul is a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Masters degree in Health Administration. Prior to joining the CCES, Paul was Chief of the Tobacco Programs Unit at Health Canada where he was responsible for the direction and management of the Department’s tobacco use reduction strategies. |

Jasmine Northcott, Secretary/Treasurer Jasmine Northcott is the Executive Director of AthletesCAN, Treasurer of the True Sport Foundation, CAAWS Board of Director and Board member of the International Center for Olympic Studies. With years of experience in and outside the high performance sport sector, Jasmine brings with her extensive strategic planning and business management experience. Working with Canadian national team athletes, all levels of Government, International Sport and National and Multi-Sport Organizations, she has strong working relationships and knowledge of the sport and physical activity sector. A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Jasmine holds a Bachelor degree in Leisure Studies and a Masters degree in Sports Administration & Marketing from the University of British Columbia. |

Lori Johnstone, Member Lori is a participant, athlete, coach/instructor, volunteer, advocate, leader and professional of sport in Canada. Lori was a member of Racquetball Canada’s National Team program from 1989 to 1996 and is a former national champion. Lori also served as an athlete representative for her team, and was elected to the Athletes CAN Board of Directors in 1993, eventually serving terms as Vice Chair (1995-97) and Chair (1997-99). Lori has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University in Applied Social Science and is currently the Policy Analyst for the Wellness Branch of the NB Department of Wellness, Culture and Sport. Lori’s diverse work experiences in sport included coordinating the Canada-NB Bilateral Agreement on Sport Development; Special Advisor to former Secretary of State for Amateur Sport Denis Coderre; first Athletes Services Manager for the Canadian Sport Centre-Atlantic; National Program Coordinator for Racquetball Canada; and racquetball club pro / coach. Lori has received two national awards at the Canadian Sport Awards in recognition of her contribution to sport and she continues to invest time in Athletes CAN and serves on the Boards of the True Sport Foundation, Sport NB and Commonwealth Games Canada. Lori remains strongly committed to creating and sustaining the best environment for values-based sport, increased participation and the achievement of excellence. |

Marg McGregor, Member Over her career Marg has worked in senior leadership positions with Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CEO), Canadian Association for Women and Sport, Water Ski Canada, Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Synchro Swim Canada and the Athletics Department at Dalhousie University. Marg is a graduate of McGill University’s Master of Management executive program and the undergraduate degree from Carleton University. She also did post-graduate work at Dalhousie University. Over her career Marg has worked in leadership positions with the Canadian Association for Women and Sport, Water Ski Canada, Canadian Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation, Synchro Swim Canada and the Athletics Department at Dalhousie University. Marg has served as the chef de mission for Team Canada at the 2006 Paralympic Games in Torino and the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. Marg has also served on team management staff for a number of international competitions and major games and has coached athletes at the Canada Games and Canadian Interuniversity Sport Championships. Marg is a recipient of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Award and current member of the Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 Board of Directors. Marg is a graduate of McGill University’s Master of Management executive program and the undergraduate degree from Carleton University. She also did post-graduate work at Dalhousie University. Marg has served on a number of Boards and Advisory Committees including the Commonwealth Games Canada, Canadian Paralympic Committee, the Canadian Sport and Fitness Administration Centre, and the Edmonton 2015 Universiade Bid Committee. Marg was a guest speaker and panel chairperson at the 2004 IOC Conference on Women & Sport in Morocco, Africa, and the keynote speaker at the 1999 Sport England Women in Sport Conference. |

Karen O'Neill, Member Karen O'Neill has been involved in the Canadian sport and active living community for over 20 years. Her prime interest and motivation has been on providing opportunities for all Canadians to participate in physical activity and sport in whatever way they want and are able to. Her career life has focused on work with athletes and persons with a disability, women in sport, and using sport as a development tool in Canada and Internationally. She has held several senior sport positions over the years:
